Fabric selection determines the comfort and atmosphere of a space. We favor natural fibers—linen, wool, silk, and cotton—for their breathability, durability, and beautiful aging. These materials develop character over time, becoming softer and more inviting.
Textile textures create visual and tactile interest. From smooth silks to nubby linens, the fabrics we choose add depth and warmth. They also serve practical functions, controlling light, providing acoustic benefits, and defining zones within open spaces.
Wood brings warmth and organic beauty to interiors. We prefer solid wood over veneers, choosing species for their grain patterns, color, and durability. Oak, walnut, and ash each offer distinct characteristics that contribute to the overall design narrative.
Natural materials age gracefully. Unlike synthetic alternatives, wood, stone, and natural fibers develop patina and character. They tell the story of use and time, making spaces feel lived-in and authentic rather than sterile and new.
Metals provide punctuation in our designs. We use them sparingly—brushed brass, aged bronze, and matte black steel—to add moments of refinement without overwhelming the space. These accents catch light, create focal points, and add subtle luxury.
Hardware, lighting, and decorative objects in carefully chosen metals create cohesion throughout a project. The finish matters as much as the material—brushed and matte finishes feel more contemporary and refined than polished alternatives.
